Grids establish a style an rhythm , whilst having a set of rules and guidelines to how things should be positioned on the page. Helps to define proportion of objects, so there pleasing to the viewers eyes, dependant on size of page is relative to how big the pictures an text generally are.

We choose a double page spread at random , traced over the grids & guides, separating text from image, to show the Grid on the page. To see how if there was any pattern to it, an if so why that pattern. What where our eyes drawn to first, was that the intention of the designer to get us to look a certain way through the article.

Then had to apply our knowledge learnt about grids an guides to remake an magazine spread using indesign. Look at Rap Up & Re-do.
